This week was the first game that our little roosters went out on the field with no coach and what a great job they did!! Some great organising by players and strong runs straight and forward against Brothers. Our McDonald players for the week are: Tui Rei, Ryder Robinson, Jake Eyles and John Roberts

Saturday against brothers the whole team worked hard to make ground and never gave up. We need to play more games the way we train and stick to the game plan.

What a fantastic effort from both Valleys and Brothers in the U/12’s! Although Brothers put 18 points on Valleys in the first half, our Roosters showed courage under pressure through some amazing plays and scrambling tackles. The 2nd half saw Valleys fire up and they were rewarded for their efforts with 2 tries going to Jackson and Kooper, with 1 try successfully converted by Dillon. However, Brothers hit back with 3 more tries and the final score was 32-10 in favour of Brothers. Our boys should be proud of how well they played against the defending premiers! With continued training our Roosters will only get better, so keep up the good work Valleys!

Great work in a gutsy win. The boys worked hard in both defence and attack. There was some great tries scored and even better lead up work by both the forwards and backs. Keep the effort up boys and keep playing Dev Cup!!

A great effort was shown by all team members today. Keep up the great team work and continue to make us proud. You are all putting in the effort at training and working hard on defense and strategies in attack. Ryan

Came up against a committed Brothers side today at Brothers. The boys got off to a great start running in some quick tries. Back half of the first half the boys defended really well. Second half of the game we had the ball for about twenty percent of the game. In what was a magnificent display of defence in in this half, I’m very proud of both the improvement in attack and defence at training and transferring this into games. I could not be more proud of you boys. UP UP UP The Roosters. Kris and Kristy.

Well done boys on a very solid win over Brothers. It was great to see everyone working together as a team and playing the type of footy we are capable of. Keep up the good work for the rest of the season. Craig Vicki Johnno and Kenny
