U12 Match Report 3 May

It wasn’t the best day to play footy with the cold windy conditions, but our boys turned up to give it a shot. We forced silly passes that saw us defend most of the first half and which allowed Dalby to capitalised. The half time score line of 14 nil to Dalby wasn’t where we wanted to be. After the half time break it was a different story. The little roosters sorted the defense out and won the second half. They didn’t allow Dalby to score again all game, though still some work to be done in understanding attacking the advantage line to ensure we are moving in the right direction. Overall it was pleasing that our defence is almost together. Great game by the skipper Mitch doing his best to get the team moving forward. Our McDonalds award went to Jared due to his enormous effort. Our Man of the Match award went to Harry for his countless tackles and involvement in the game.
