Welcome to Toowoomba Valleys Juniors R.L.F.C
1970 was the year that the Darling Downs Junior Rugby League launched a Toowoomba Junior Rugby League Competition. Prior to this Junior Rugby League in Toowoomba was under the control of the Primary Schools and played in weight divisions.
Toowoomba Valleys committee elected not to enter the competition at first due to opposition from the schools, but then had a change of heart and joined the league at the end of the first round. That year the competition was under 10’s, Under 12’s and under 14’s.
A half a century on and Toowoomba Valleys Juniors is a massive club fielding teams in all grades of the competition from under 7’s through to under 16’s.
