Under 9’s
Cookies under 9’s had a tough match this week against Souths Tigers. The boys had to dig deep during the later part of the game against the strong Souths. We saw some great defence work from Xavier and Kobe. Chase, Lincoln and Kade made some good runs as well. This weeks man of the match goes to Xavier Newton for showing us some great determination in the last half of the game.

Thanks to Gatton for a good game of footy. I was very proud of the boys effort today. We improved the longer the game went and were playing for each other. Phoenix was Scott Sattler like, pulling off a try saving tackle in the corner when everyone thought it was a certain try. Man of the match – Tom Siebuhr, he never took a backward step.
They boys had a tough game today against Gatton who are a big side I’m super proud of there defensive effort and helping each other out it was a great game of footy they’re starting to know there roles and taking there opportunities when they arise will cook had a very solid defensive game against kids much bigger than him solid effort guys keep it up.
