Congratulations to the Oakey Bears on their great win.
Their side stuck it out well in hot conditions, and were deserving winners.
I was very proud of my team for their effort.
However we made alot of errors that we have not made previously.
Unfortunately that was the difference between winning and losing for us.
Coen tried very hard as did Brock, Tate and Trai.
Kyle scored a nice try off a beautiful cross field kick from Brock and kicked some nice goals.
First game of the year boys, was a nice effort.

Dev Cup game was a very hard game for both sides.
After we got out to a nice lead through a couple of nice tries, Oakey appeared to change totally.
They put on the next 5 tries and we looked in trouble.
But as is always the case, we got our share of the possession and held it, and after a brilliant tussle, we ended up with a 32 all draw.
Well done to both sides on a very competitive match.
