Our next monthly meeting will be held at the club house on Tuesday 21st May at 6.45 pm. Please note a representative from each team is required to attend our monthly meetings. Everyone is welcome so come along and share your ideas and enthusiasm.
U16 Match Report 4 May 2013
Due to lack of players we had to forfeit to Pittsworth.We played a 9 a side game with the help of some u/15′s so that the boys that turned up at least got to have a game. If we could get a couple of extra players this wouldn’t happen as we had a few boys out with injuries.
U16 Match Report 26-27 April 2013
What a fantastic game the U/16′s played on Friday night. It was an outstanding effort and the whole team can hold their heads up high. I wish I could give everyone a man of the match award as choosing 3 players from that game is very hard.3 points go to Tim Mantiet, 2 points to Josh Jones and 1 point to Alex Redman. Once again another big thank you to the U/15′s that played up for us. It was a great effort. Thank you and see everyone at training on Tuesday.

U16 Match Report 20 April 2013
We had a great turn up of players for the Oakey game.They got off to a slow start in the first half with Oakey scoring a couple of easy tries.There was a big improvement in the second half .As it’s only the second game we have a few things to work on at training next week.It’s hard to pick out any players for special mention as they all tried their hardest.The 3,2,1 points for the game go to Pat Smith,Nick Ryals and Tim Mantiet.Thanks boys for a great effort.

The Valleys Under 16 side proved to all they are here this year to play. It’s been a tough start to the year, but the boys competed all game and didn’t give up, even scoring the last try of the night. Well done to all players. It was a great team effort and match awards went to Nick Ryalls Nick Stewart and Tim Manteit.

League Safe
Hi All there will be a League Safe Course being conducted Wednesday evening at Clive Berghofer Stadium at 7:00pm. If anyone still requires League Safe Certificate please contact our Registrar Leanne asap.
Strapping Course
Hi All please find information for up and coming strapping Course. I f you wish to attend please contact the Registrar Leanne. FAO’s needing certificate renewals or if you have applied for FAO RPL’s will need to attend also.
Course Content:
The Basic course will cover the following:
- Theory and principles of Strapping
- Anatomy and Physiology of the ankle and foot
- Strapping techniques of ankle, thumb and fingers.
The Advance Course will cover the following:
- Revision principles of strapping
- Advance anatomy and physiology of foot
- Strapping techniques for foot related injuries and foot related complaints
- Anatomy and Physiology of the Shoulder and Knee and preventive strapping techniques
- Introduction to Kinesio tapping
Presenters for the Course will be from Wiltshire Physiotherapy and Think Feet Podiatry
Cost for Course is $30 for basic course and $55 for advance Course. (Please contact Leanne as the Club may be able to cover the cost of the Course)
