The boys took on the Hawkies in Gatton and they were nothing short of a challenge with some great defensive efforts from the boys making desperate tackles near the line it was 0-0 at halftime how ever the Hawkies got us by 6 in the end. some great runs by Matty Allen and mason Tuitoga just to name a few. We just need to get our attack down put boys and we will be sweet to go

The U12 Copas Nenham Roosters traveled down the range to take on a well drilled Gatton Hawks in what turned out to be a good game of footy to watch. The Roosters had the best start this season with committed defense & Bevan going over for the first try of the game. Although our defense held for periods in first half the bounce of the ball did not favor us & Gatton took full advantage. Josh played his heart out at his first game @ 6 & was well supported by Max, Brendy & Adrian. Overall a good effort by all 17 boys & we are improving as a team. Dallas & Rob

The Copas Newnham U12 Roosters played a good game against the Danes on Saturday. It was a good game to watch even with us on the wrong side of the score board. Claude, Adrian & Brendy were again strong in both defense & attack. Our try scorers were Connor A, Matty & in his first game of the year after injury Bevan. As a team we are slowly showing what the boys are capable of & improving each week, good effort boys. Dallas & Rob

Great game by the young roosters on Saturday, we came up against a skill-full Souths team and we struggled to hold on to the ball at crucial times. Jordan fisher never stop giving his all for the whole game taking down the big Souths forwards also strong games from Mason, Jordan G and Domonic just to name a few. Still plenty to work on at training so lets keep up the tough work.

The Copas Newnham U12s took on Dalby in a very tough and entertaining game. The boys showed a bit more go forward in the middle early with strong runs by Brendy & Brandon . Michael showed what he can do with space out wide by scoring a double without a hand being laid on him except in the in goal which we are shaw he will learn from. Connor A, Max & Adrian were very strong in defense all game & needed to be as Dalby had the majority of the ball. There are good signs the boys are improving as a team & if we can train hard during the week we are confident the wins will come. Dallas & Rob

The First National Real Estate Roosters played a very high scoring game against a determined Bears. Although the end result went against us, the way we scored our tries was very pleasing. We will spend this weeks training sessions on defense. Our best for the game were Brandon & Brendy who both made good meters & plenty of tackles in the middle. Adrian played well in the backs even after picking up an injury in the first half. Dallas & Rob.

The First National Real Estate Under 12s went down to a strong Brothers side for our first game of the year. The boys were a bit off their game from the kick off & let the opposition over early but slowly worked their way back into the game. We lacked a bit of go forward in the middle but Connor T , Michael , Adrian & Claude on the edges showed the way in attack & defense. Two of our new players in Claude & Michael will be great assets to our team with strong running & desperate defense. Our 3 guys off the bench did a great job. Patty was very unlucky not to score after a determined run ,Jordan doing allot of tackles & strong hitups & Casey busy at dummy half. Overall a good effort by the boys as they gave it their best until the final siren .
