It was a great effort by the boys for the 3 games at the U8 carnival at Clive Berghoffer Oval. It was strong performance by everyone and some great tries and defense made it a great day. The awards for the day went to Isaiah, Bowde, Ronan, Lachlan & Jack E

The boys traveled to Oakey for the Mod Carnival this weekend and after a slow start in the early games, they produced some brilliant football in the later ones. By the end, all the boys were exhausted but hopefully they all enjoyed themselves. It is good to see that all the hard work is now producing some results. Congratulations to the Rd 5 award winners:- Pizza awards went to Kyle and Ayden. Maccas awards went to Ethan, Oscar, Jack and Connor. Also, congratulations to our new Rep players Patty Noble, Lachlan Stagg, Connor Gierke and Kyle Hibbens who are playing in a Toowoomba “Range” side against Roma in the near future. Well done. Women in League day this Saturday.

This day is to celebrate the many women who are involved in our game, as parents, wives, girlfriends, grandparents, coaches, managers, volunteers, club officials and spectators.

A special women in league raffle will be done at the game and our under 13′s will wear the special Women in League pink jerseys.

The boys took on the Hawkies in Gatton and they were nothing short of a challenge with some great defensive efforts from the boys making desperate tackles near the line it was 0-0 at halftime how ever the Hawkies got us by 6 in the end. some great runs by Matty Allen and mason Tuitoga just to name a few. We just need to get our attack down put boys and we will be sweet to go

Unfortunately Gatton had to forfeit due to having only 12 players, Due to this we never really applied ourselves the way we should have during the opposed training run. A tough game this week against Gatton boys, where your defense and ability to play as a team again got you a convincing victory. All 17 players contributed and did your jobs. Your discipline at training is showing on the field, keep working on this and the 1 percenters and you will be able to continue to keep your heads up. Again, hard to pick 3 best players, but this week awards go to Mitch Baisden, Alex Brown and Percy Cubby.
